Have you and your organization taken advantage of this amazing opportunity?

If you haven't heard, Best Practice Medicine, on behalf of the American Heart Association and the Helmsley Charitable Trust, is offering fully subsidized, Montana focused, Best Practices in Rural STEMI Care – The Mission Continues. This invaluable education improves care for our cardiac patients and bolsters the knowledge of providers, nurses, and EMS professionals. This clinical education program continues the mission and initiatives of the American Heart Association's Mission Lifeline program, started in 2014, paused in 2018, then relaunched through March of 2020. (Get started here!).

Mission Life Line Montana

How Does This Program Work?

The curriculum covers the why, the when, and the how in assessment of potential cardiac patients. We also cover the treatment of patients from EMS assessment to treatment to fibrinolysis and on to transfer to a higher level of care. There is a focus on rapid fibrinolysis, for the in-hospital providers, as this is where the Montana data shows we lack timeliness across the state.

This education is provided in a two-part program, with an online and onsite portion. The online portion will take about 90 min and the onsite portion is about the same. Learn more here

Who Is This Program For?

The program is designed to improve the knowledge of the practice of STEMI care both in the EMS community and our in-hospital providers, nurses, and ancillary staff. ECG acquisition, and transmission for EMS, is a cornerstone of the program.

How Is This Program Fully Subsidized?

Best Practices in Rural STEMI Care – The Mission Continues is completely subsidized by funding provided by the American Heart Association and the Helmsley Charitable Trust. That means there is no cost to your organization.

Program subsidy ends March of 2020. Please schedule a training as soon as possible to lock down your spot.
