Traditionally, a six year anniversary gift is candy (for sweetness) or iron (for strength). Today looking at this business we started six years ago with three guys and a dog, we have been given sweetness and strength in ways we never expected.
Looking back at this past year alone, Best Practice Medicine has grown threefold. We have become a trusted partner to the public and private sectors providing COVID-19 response nationally, as well as sustaining the largest COVID-19 response team in Montana with over 300,000 individual interactions for screening, testing, and logistical support since March 2020. We began a partnership with FEMA and the USFS to support vaccinations nationally responding to their call with 100 VAST team members deployed within 48 hours.
We have added a wildland fire EMT program; trained and certified hundreds of new EMTs; hosted refresher courses for nurses, paramedics, firefighters, AEMTs, EMTs, and so many more; we continue to provide high-fidelity medical simulations in every county across the state of Montana, and beyond. And that is just scratching the surface of everything we were able to accomplish in this past year.
This year was a whirlwind year and we have never been stronger. The mission that BPM started up with 6 short years ago- to guarantee the health and safety of clinical teams and their patients in time-sensitive decisions, especially high risk, low-frequency non-discretionary time emergencies, has grown in ways we never foresaw and we cannot be more excited to continue on.
This year could have never been possible without the help of our amazing staff. To each and every one of our BPM family members… THANK YOU! You all deserve a round of applause for all of your hard work and dedication. Thank you for making this year so sweet. Thank you for making our team strong. Finally, thank you for being part of our journey!
