The USDOT's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is now open for applications.This program offers grants to support regional, local and Tribal initiatives aimed at preventing deaths and serious injuries on our nation's roadways. The FY24 SS4A NOFO has multiple application deadlines depending on the grant type and closes on Thursday, August 29, 2024, 5:00 PM (ET).

The EMS community is encouraged to collaborate with their local government entities, metropolitan planning organizations and Tribal governments for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program to leverage these critical resources for enhancing post-crash care and improving roadway safety in their communities. With over $3 billion still available for future funding rounds, this is a pivotal opportunity to implement life saving projects and strategies that align with the U.S. Department of Transportation's vision of zero roadway deaths.
